Deer Processing FAQ

A minimum of 8 pounds is required for a walk in processing order. Meat is preferred to not be ground, but we will accept ground venison if it is the only option.

Yes, we can make jerky out of your venison if you keep your hind muscle whole.

During deer season our drop-off hours are from 9-6.

Your deer must come in field dressed and gutted. Please leave the hide on.

Kill tag or license must be attached to the antlers for bucks and attached to the leg for does.

Bone-In Cut - Expect 40-45% weight return from the field dressed weight with a clean shot.

Boneless Cut - Expect 30-35% weight return from the field dressed weight with a clean shot.

“Wet Weight” is the raw trim weight before cooking. Finished weight is always less than wet weight.

Yes! We offer Michigan DNR Licenses, Tags and Permits right at our service Counter.
